I’m Lisa; a historian of nineteenth and twentieth century Britain, specialising in political and gender history.
I’m currently working on my upcoming book A Woman MP?: From Parliamentary Candidates to Westminster Representatives, 1918-1939. I also enjoy sharing my research through articles, talks, podcasts, and radio.
I work at The National Archives UK as a Modern Parliament Records Specialist. I’ve previously worked at the UK Parliament leading the initial phase of planning for the 100 year anniversary of the 1928 Equal Franchise Act in 2028.
